Yet another flexwatt question?

I know how to wire it and all that. My question is can I plug a power strip into my reostat then plug all the flexwatt into the power strip? Thank you in advance

Yeah, the only concern is to make sure the rheo can take the load. You should be fine with a rheo from home depot, but I think 'reptile specific' rheos have a lower limit (zoo meds rheo is only 150w).

It's one from the Depot, Leviton is the model and it says 300w,120VAC,60Hz.. I will be plugging in 3 flexwatts that are 11" will this be good? Thank you

Just multiply the watts/foot of your flexwatt by how many feet of flexwatt you have. The total watts should be a bit lower than the max of the rheo. If the max of the rheo is 300w then I would try to stick to 275w or lower.

Not sure what you mean by that.. I have 3 pieces of flexwatt that are a 11" x 12" I want to wire them individually and plug them all into the power strip. thank you again

Do you have under tank heaters or flex watt? Flex watt will say on the side how many watts it uses.

I think 11" flex watt is 20 watts per foot, so thats 60 watts. Your good to go

It's Flex Watt.. the only thing on the side is where it was made.. ok sweet. I didnt want to piggy back them b/c I will be puttin them into a rack setup once I make it.. thank you again
