    Do ball pythons stop eating after shed? My bp eats every week but he just shedded & the next day i tried to feed him but he just wont eat. He was running from the mouse lol

    I have found the opposite, but each snake is different. Usually ours shun food just before they are going to shed, then chow down afterwards. Maybe he just isn't hungry quite yet and this is the time of year they would rather slow on the feed and start, er, well...lookin' for love instead. My Burm once went two months before he started eating again. Not to worry.

    thanks, i plan on getting a female so they can mate, but if i do, should they be close in size & age?
