    tubs/ substrate

Im fairly new to this i've been using unprinted newpaper in my racking system. I clean their tubs everytime they make a mess or go to the bathroom. lately ive been noticing the tub still smells after i clean it, is it because the plastic is absorbing the smell or am i not cleaning it that well? I'd really love everyones opinion and on what subsrate is better overall...

I also noticed after cleaning my tubs with Chlorhexidine, they still had an odor. I got some Healthy Habitat de-odorizer from my local pet shop and use it to wipe down the tubs after cleaning. I think Reptile Basics also sells it...

Washing everything down with vinegar and distilled water should help. That's what I use and I don't have any issues. However, depending on the tubs, you could still have a smell. I think it's the nature of the tubs you are using more than anything else. You may never get the smell to go away completely.

    Good Luck!
