My ball hasn't pooped yet? Plus feeding schedule?

I got my ball back in october, halloween to be exact. She didn't eat for probably the first 2 months i had her. She eats fine now and has probably eaten 6 or 7 times. she has shed once and looks like she will be doing so again soon. She hasn't pooped any though. she has created some urates about 4 or 5 times. I have given her a few luke warm baths hoping it would help, but still nothing.

I'm not sure if this is cause for concern, but I wanted to be sure. Also I don't know if its possible, but i'm holding her right now and it smells like she keeps farting, do snakes do this?

second question is about feeding schedule. when I first got her the store told me to feed her a fuzzy every five days, but she is getting bigger and she usually eats 2 fuzzies. once she ate two hoppers. when should I start feeding her less. or is there some sort of formula I should use for feeding?

    thanks for all your help,
    hannah

    Hi,

The general rule is 10-15% of bodyweight of the snake. Also aim for something about the same width as the widest part of the snake.

Generally BP's start out on hoppers and move quite quickly to small adult mice.

But I wouldn't worry about the lack of poop so far - if she was on fuzzy's for most meals and has only had 6 or 7 meals in total then she may simply have nothing to poop.

I would keep her on one meal every 5 - 7 days using the guidelines above.

Yes, snakes do fart, and sometimes quite loudly. If your snake does decide to take a monster poo, get pics...

Dont worry, when theres lack of poop, it just means the sanke is absorbing every ounce of the meal. I have some snakes on 2 months no poop but pee weekly.

Sounds about right. My new baby was leaving little brown dots when I was feeding him fuzzies. When I bumped him to hoppers is when he started pooing out larger amounts.
