Hello...I've been lurking around for a few months absorbing as much as I can. I thought it was finally time actually say Hi and introduce the kids. I have always loved snakes since I was a kid but was never allowed to keep them in the house due to a scared mother.
I never actually thought I would own a snake let alone 5 because when my wife and I met, she was terribly afraid of them. I don't know what it was but out of the blue she said she wanted to hold a Ball Python. I was completely shocked, so we went to Petco and checked out what they had. Her fear went away in seconds and she fell in love. We have 5 total and she's just as into them as I am.

Here is our first baby, Zoe. We got her in July of 2007. She's now 1000 grams. Very sweet, outgoing...and a stubborn feeder. She loves her mice...Uggh.

After finding out that there were "morphs" available, I knew one day I would get another snake. While picking up some mice at Petco for Ms. Stubborn i stumbled across this little guy who is not so little any more. He was in with the normals and I knew it had to be a mistake. A Pastel at Petco?? I named him Zander. He's 600 grams now.

Spiders are one of my favorite morphs. I loved the possibilities of what a they could produce. A reptile shop I go to had this big girl for sale. My wife wants a Bumble Bee sooooo bad. When she saw her, she had to get her. She was already 2-2.5 years old and almost breeding size. She's about 1330 grams right now. We call her Jazz.

We went to the San Diego show last summer expecting to NOT buy anything...hahaha...RIIIIIIIGT. This was our first show and as soon as we hit the floor, we were freaking out. It was the first time we had seen this many snakes in one place. The wife fell in love again with this little guy. I was never into boas that much, but I am now. This is Xavier and hes about 100 grams.

Last but not least is Jester. We picked this guy up a few months ago. He's a rescue. He was found in an abandoned home wandering out of his cage. He was very friendly so we brought him home. He's very curious and always tries to climb on top of our heads when we hold him.

Anywho that's the fam. I look forward to gaining more and more information from everyone. Especially since we will be pairing the Spider and Pastel soon. We want that Bee, badly. Thanks for reading.
