    Feeding

I have 3 snakes. 1 is certainly on hopper mice, next week will be moved up to small adult mice (12.5 grams). My other 2 are on 20 gram mice and growing fast. I was looking into getting rat pups (20-29 grams) but I think they will grow right through those and might have to supplement the rat pups with something smaller to get the proper feeding. Should I upgrade buy weaned rats instead? Buying from rodentpro so they come in 25 packs which is why I'm asking.

I would go with the rat pups! You don't want to move up too fast because they may refuse the weaned rats then you are stuck with them. When the rat pups get small then feed a small rat pup and a large rat pup for each feeding then when they are done those you can move up to small rats. With three bps, feeding every 5 days, you will probaly run out before they out grow the rat pups though! Thats what I did because my supplier did not have weaned size.

BP's up into the 300 gram range will be fine on pups. Once theyre in the higher 300's I normally switch to small's.
