i bought a fogger to keep the humidity up in my bp's cage. i have a wire top care with a towel on one side to try and keep some humidity in. but the fogger is not really doing the job that well. it is better then when we didnt have it but it is still not where i want it to be. any suggestions as to how to keep the humidity a little higher. i have a spray bottle too and i use it from time to time. would it be necessary to buy a bigger water bowl. any help is appreciated!!!

you can have a thin piece of plexi cut to size and lay that on top of the screen instead.

If you are using any kind of over head heating, that will also bring your humidity down considerably. What kind of substrate are you using? Cypress mulch is the best at keeping humidity up.

I use plastic sheets (for covering windows and such in the winter) to cover the mesh on my tank. much cheaper then plexi. then i just cut a hole to fit my CHE. works great for me

The towel you put over the top is wet, right? A dry towel will soak up humidity. You can cover the wet towel with a piece of aluminum foil or stretch wrap to keep water from evaporating off the towel.

Coconut husk is a great substrate for holding in humidity! You can also add some moss to bring up humidity! The che is drying out your tank so if you can get away from it then that will help! Foggers also don't last long before they fail! I had one, it last 2 months then got another one that last 5 weeks then gave up on them!
