First time seeing the pink belly

Since getting my girl Serena, she has shed twice. The first time was a bad shed because of humidity levels, second time was perfect. During both of these times, I have never seen her belly turn "pink", I am guessing because husbandry was off. Well, last night, I picked her up to bathe her and handle her, and she has a pink belly. Really neat thing to see. Her eyes should be blue soon, then, hopefully, another complete one piece shed. She is an awesome normal, great personality, and I love her bunches.

Glad to hear it's going well. I'm not sure how long their bellies stay pink, but I don't think it's very long. You could have easily missed it the other times.

The longer you have one, the more you notice. The pink belly has shown up a week before shedding for me. It is a neat thing to see because it's a great indicator of when you should bump the humidity up to 60-80%.

Aren't they just the greatest little animals? I get the siffles and turn into a jerk. They shed their entire skin and for the most part, they're still cool.

    Gotta love 'em!

I never notice the pink belly. I think I do sometimes....but always question myself. I look for when they go blue!
