    Spam PMs??

The last couple of days I have been getting messages sent to my email inbox alerting me to the fact that i have a new private message at Ball-Pythons.net. Both times i have come to the site to check them and both times they have been spam PMs. I have not been around the boards much in, well, years I suppose. Is this a new and somewhat regular thing that everyone is experiencing??
Life is like a game of poker. You can play each hand to the best of your ability but you are still going to run into a bad beat from time to time. What matters is how you handle it. Do you go on tilt or can you maintain your composure & rebuild your stack?

I haven't gotten it, but allt hey have to do is make it to where they have a CAPCHA block to type, and to make you verify the e-mails, and the bots wouldn't be able to register.

If you still have the Spam PM can you forward it to me, please? I haven't heard anyone else mention this so I'd like the staff to be able to check it out.

We already have that in place. I'm working on adding some addtional anti-spam methods right now to cut back on the spam we get.

If you do get spam, please forward it to any mod or admin so we can deal with the spammer.

This is to anyone - if you get what you believe is a SPAM PM - please forward them to a staff member. Spamming is strictly prohibited and will be dealt with by the staff - but we have to know about it to deal with it. Thank you!

See the only problem with the CAPCHA is that bots can actually auto do it now. They have some new things out now with like it says a color and then you have to click on the color of the crayon, that the word says. I know for a fact they don't have bots to bypass that at the moment, so you can see about doing that.
