Forgive my ignorance. I have been looking around on the net for a definitive guide to blood pythons. More specifically the differences between the above two species.

As a youngster do they both look the same and if so what are the ways to tell them apart.

Also with ball pythons there is a rule of thumb regards to breedable size and weight. Does anyone have any info on what size they look for when breeding p.brongersmai
