Opinions Please
I am highly considering adding a new species of snake to my collection. Just thought I would get your guys opinions on the two species I'm considering.
We will eventually work with both. but what to work with first??? I'll shortly com to my own decision. Though I'd like to hear what u all would say.
Its between
bloods/borneo short-tailed Pythons
or
Candoia (solomon Island Ground Boas
what would you choose first?

Re: Opinions Please
Personally, id go with the blood python. If you go with a pacific and end up making the wrong moves, its a bigger loss. Those seem to be a little harder to come by, and a little harder to care for.
0.0.1 Solomon Island boa
2.0 Normal BP
1.0 Spider BP
0.1 Saharan Sand boa
0.0.1 Red spotted beaked snake
0.1 Taiwan Beauty
1.0 Broadband Copperhead
0.1 Senegal Chameleon
1.1 Leopard Geckos
0.1 Columbian B&W Tegu
0.1.12 Curly Hair Tarantulas
0.1 Salmon Pink bird-eating tarantula

Re: Opinions Please
Big ouch. I absolutely adore both, though I don't own a Candoia. Short tails are much easier to come by and are more tame-able than Solomon Islands, and you'll be able to find more info on short tails. That said... Solomon Islands are sooooo amazing...
I guess I'd have to vote short tail. They're just so dang cool. And besides, for the price of a decent-looking Solomon Island, you could buy a really amazing short tail. Between a red blood and a breit, I prefer breits, but that might just be because I own one. Coolest snake ever. I adore their creamy coloring. Mine has some chocolate splotches with the most amazing blushing. But that's just me. There's not a whole lot of difference between the two, besides coloring and head shape.

Re: Opinions Please
Just curious. what do you mean by making the wrong moves?
Although the point is moot because I just perchased 2 female CBB solomon island grounds yesterday and they should be arriving Tuesday.
Bloods for next year

Re: Opinions Please
Again, I've never owned a Solomon, but from what I've read about them they seem to be pretty unpredictable.
Ooooh, congrats!! Please post pictures when you get them!
