    New frog!

Meet Croaky von Chubblikons! He's a cute lil chubby frog. I had one a year or so ago, but gave him to a friend because we were moving. I was so afraid he'd get to dry while driving across two states. So while exploring a new exotic pet store, I stumbled upon him and HAD to have him!

Couple of questions for you frog people though...

1.) He's in my reptile room which stays at a constant 80 degrees. Do you think a heating pad would be over kill?

2.) How much do you think I should be feeding him?

    And now for the pics!

Get it from Zookeeper? I just recently picked one up from there, and I noticed you are in Austin.

I keep mine at room temp, and it seems to be doing fine. I feed it a few crickets every few days. Sometimes just leave a few small crickets in his enclosure to let him feed as needed.

Yup, that's where I got him! I think I snagged the last one.

Yeah, I've played with the temp. with and without the heating pad. It feels like the heating pad is pretty much off the whole time, since the room temp is consistent.

I love hearing him croak. He cracks me up!

He's adorable, I picked one up at Petsmart before I knew anything about frogs, when I pointed out to the girl that his eyes looked oddly glassy she told me that just how they were, within two days his eyes had gone totally white and he refused food and Melefix didn't help. Yours looks much healthier, congrats on your new cuteness
