    Flexwatt Questions

Hey guys (and ladies), I've been reading on the site for around a month now, so I've been a "lurker." I want to thank you all for the amazing amount of information that is on site.

Anyway, on to the question: I'm in the process of switching a normal BP female over to a tub, mainly for humidity reasons. My cage has a screen top, and even though I have it taped off, its hard to keep the humidity up. My question is with the Flexwatt. Do you tape it directly to the tub? I just dont want to melt it. I understand about having the thermostat, dimmer, all that...thanks to you guys. Maybe some pics of where you have your Flexwatt would help me out. I've searched, and really couldnt find--"I put my Flexwatt here"--so just looking for some help.

    Thanks in advance!

    Re: Flexwatt Questions

Flexwatt is attached to the "furniture" that tub will sit on or hover above. Depending on the surface you are placing the flexwatt, it may be best to put a layer of foil tape down, place the flexwatt over that and then tape the edges of the flexwatt so it doesn't move.

If you have a rack where the tubs are hanging it would be a little different.
