    Hungry too much?

Hey I've noticed that my bp eats fine every week has not missed one feed even the day before his shed (it was his first shed and I was too stupid to realize the signs) but I ahve noticed with things that seem like a good thing for an animal are usually bad for my snake. I am just making sure if it is a good or bad thing that my snake is always looking like he is waiting for food with his head outside the hide and coils everytime I put my hand in like I am about to feed. I feed him proper sized mice ( size of his thickest part)

He should be fine with a once a week diet, but you can probably go to every 5 days if you'd like. I'm of the persuasion of not pounding my snakes to get them to size. But you can feed him however often you'd like. Every 5-7 days is about right for the size of your Ball Python.

    Good Luck!
