I'm not a het expert as far as physical markers go. The only ways I can think of is if there was any paperwork from the breeder certifying it het, or breeding it and seeing if it produces albino babies. Either way, you it for free...

    Re: How do I know?

I have produced many het albinos and there are no markers that I am aware of. I would assume it is a male since you got it for free as they are worth as much as a normal nowadays.

    Re: How do I know?

I agree its probably a male. And the only way to prove if its het or not is breed it to another heterozygous or homozygous albino and produce albinos.
