Eye Problem - Shedding/Humidity/Dehydrated?
I had my cinnamon out the other day because my 2 friends wanted to see my snakes. So I took her out and noticed she was duller than normal, and sort of had the greyish-blue eyes, so I put her back. Today, I see her comming out for a drink and she looks normal, except for the eyes. They are still greyish-blue, but lighter, so I approach her tank slowly. When I see the eye that was facing me I noticed it was a little "dented" so I immediately took her out to see if her other one was too, which is not. I provide my snakes with fresh water every day except for the odd time which I do it every 2 days, the temperatures are spot on, and the humidity could use a little bit of work (Both tanks are only reading 30% - 35%, I'm lucky if I can get it to 40%). I made a humidifier from a DIY thing on a different site and it got the humidity to 50%. Only problem I broke the entire thing by accidentally putting my bag containing a Play Station 3 in it, so I'm going to make another one soon.
I'm not entirely concerned cause I'm pretty sure its just a humidity problem, but my pastel is pretty much in the same set up (In a different terrarium of course) and he does not have any problems with him.
So does anybody have any idea on what this could be? And give suggestions please.

Hi,
What kind of enclosure are you using?
There may be a few things people could suggest to raise the humidity now she is in shed just to make sure everything works out ok.

You are right, the dented eye caps are from low humidity. Misting a few times a day can help, but details about your setup can help us figure out what you can do to permanently raise it.

Re: Eye Problem - Shedding/Humidity/Dehydrated?
I am currently using glass terrariums because I only have the 2 snakes for now, once I get 2 or 3 more I'll be switching to racks. I know they suck for humidity and it doesn't really help that I'm using over head lights. Basically here is what I have in my set up: an inch or so of aspen for substrate, 2 identical hides on each side of the cage, a water bowl in the middle, and 2 plastic plants around each opening on the hide. I know in previous threads I said I was getting UTH's but I'm not good at saving money, but I'm starting to get all I need for them.
I'm making another humidifier when I can get all the supplies together.
