Setting up UTH, temperature probe & Thermostat/500R probe

I have a UTH for the hot side of the tank, with an excloser overtop. I use aspin bedding and the AcuRite thermometer with probe for outside temperatures (which I use under the bedding on the hotside) to measure MAXIUM temperature he would be exposed to.

I just purchased a 500r and not sure where I should set the probe. taped to the inside of the HOT HUT or under the bedding with the thermostat probe?

I do 500R on the UTH under the tank/tub and the accurite in the tank/tub to accurately read the temps your snake is actually feeling

Keep the reptitemp probe outside the enclosure so the snake can't mess with it or pee on it and make it run hotter than it should.
