    Re: Some Quarantine questions

I personally dont QT any new rodents as i dont buy from pet stores. Its preference on if you want to or not.

But what rodents have your snakes cant get disease wise. So dont worry about that.

    Re: Some Quarantine questions

You don't need to quarantine them, but just keep them in another room cause they smell and you'll keep your snakes thinking its always feeding time. Snakes really can't contract mammililia desieases and don't worry about it.

Warning to you, i work at Petsmart and by god please keep a very close eye on them. Our rats tend to suffer from Respiratory infections and Ringworm. Watch for any lost fur, wheezing, sneezing, scabs, red around the nose, and red around the eyes. These are the most common occurances and you will notice them within your 14 day guarantee.

False. I have 500+ mice n rats 2 feet away from my Snake racks in SAME room. Never been bit ever, and they dont roam thinking its feeding time all the time either.

Yeah true they probably do get used to different concentrations of the scent, so it makes sense.
