New Substrate, Water Dishes, and Hides!

Yesterday I went to the Dollar Tree and I got some dog & cat dishes for water dishes. The Ball pythons really needed an upgrade, and The dishes I have in their tubs now are a lot better than what I have before.

I got two blue, square, plastic bowls that I can cut into with scissors. I finally got Candice better hides because the ones before lifted up so easily since they were really light in weight and they just weren't that secure. So now, after cutting a hole in each bowl, she has two, heavier, tight fitting hides. She really looks comfortable in these hides and they are a LOT better!

As some of you know I changed the substrate to aspen bedding which they seem to really enjoy. In my opinion it's a lot softer on their undersides and more comfortable to sleep on. Okay, here are the photos of each tub!

Nice use of some discount stuff. I love that. If I had it all to do over, I would never have done anything but tubs and stuff I could get at places like the feed store, the dollar store, ect.

Oh yeah for sure. There is actually a lot of useful items you can get from feed stores and dollar stores for Ball pythons. If I could go back I wouldn't of wasted my money on tanks, heat lamps, log hides, etc. and would just gets tubs and everything I have now. I'd probably have over $500 if I could redo everything LOL. At the dollar store, everything I purchased came to a total of $9.56 or something like that. I'm going to shop there more often so I can actually save money LOL.
