Do you have any breeders near you? You can try to talk with them about visiting and possibly volunteering and explain that you would really like to get some experience with the burmese so that you know you can handle the snake. Of course the other thing to understand is that if we loose the battle for the big nine lord only knows what next.
singingtothesnakes 1.1 Normal kids. Well for the most part anyway.
0.1. Worlds coolest Normal Ball Python (Boo)

Okay ill take that into consideration. I'll have to see what they say about that. Thanks for the advice. And with the bill, since they added boa constrictors, they pretty much ruined it on there part. They pushed it and now people on the board are switching to our side.

Burms were banned in New York in 2005, sorry.
If you were closer and lived where they were legal I'd have you stop by our place and work with them.

Re: Where Could I Get Some Experience ???
well, since I also have a few questions, do you guys think it would be a good idea to start out with a female boa since theyre kind of in the middle when it comes to large snakes? I also would probably get a male burm so it stays a bit smaller. I dont plan on getting a burm ANY time soon but I want to in the future once I have real job and place to start a good collection.
