feces question
Hi guys and gals,
Sorry for the gross post, but when my male BCI pooped yesterday there was the normal brown stuff, but then also some lighter brown stuff and some white stuff, sort of looked like whipped cream or something. What is that???
His health seems fine. He's eating regularly and I see him drinking water and his sheds have been fine and his behavior hasn't been any different. He looks great.
Thanks,
Payton

Re: feces question
sometimes the white stuff i heard can be highly digested bits and pieces of their food, but I just stuck with the thought of urine.

Re: feces question
Right, and I just saw that in a few of my books, too. Sorry, dumb question. And I've seen it before now that I think about it, just kinda forgot because it's been a while. I think it usually gets soaked up in the bedding. Anyway, he's very healthy.
Thanks for answering, sorry for the dumb question.

Re: feces question
I was perusing the forums for similar poop questions and came across this one although my concern is not concerning the urates but rather the lighter brown stuff. My 6 month old pastel ball just pooped what was left of the rat hopper I fed her on Tuesday and there was regular dark brown stuff, urates and this lighter brown stuff, which was around the same density as the dark stuff. Am I safe in assuming that is normal? Just want to make sure...
Thanks!
