Acu-rite model 782w

I am working on building my incubator, and I bought a acu-rite 782w to monitor the internal temperatures. I have heard others use this model, any idea how often it checks for a temp change

All digital thermometers adjust as soon as there is a change in temps. Usually in 1-2 seconds you will notice a temp change.

After watching this one it seems to update the remote reader about every 3-5 minutes
