looking for a male ball python
Hello,
I am a novice here.
I have a 3 year old female ball python and I would like to breed it.
I am in Boston MA.
I plan to find anyone who has a male and also would like to breed it.
Could you please give me some advices what is the best strategy to find a male?
Thanks a lot!
Sincerely,
Andrey

Any suggestions are very welcome!
I can drive my bp to a neighbour state and leave it for required time for breeding.
I can't buy another one because I am limited in space but I am very inerested to look at ppearing small bp.
Also if anyone knows about reptile club in Boston I will be also very inerested.

If you do not have room for one more, what will you do when you overnight have 5 or more additional snakes?
Just a thought.
1.1 CRT Boa -Anery 100% Het Snow . , Salmon 66% P. Het Snow
3.5 Normal BP Some are P. Het for Axanthic, and Snow
1.1 Mojave BP
1.0 Spider BP
0.1 Pastel BP
2.0 Fire BP
1.0 Ghost
0.1 Possible Axanthic

I will setup temporary housing and then find for them a new house. It's not a buisness for me. Male's keeper will get half or all minus one babies.

Re: looking for a male ball python
Hi,
You will also need to think long and hard about quarantine.
Most of the time we recommend a quarantine period of between 30-90 days.
That's when the animal arives at the breeding partners house then again when it gets back to yours if you have more than one reptile.
You should do a search for "breeding loans" and read through the threads to get some input from people who have done it before. It needs to be very ell thought out if you are going to avoid possible problems.
