    Re: handling after feeding

I would handle Wednesday morning just to be safe. Unless you've fed it a smaller item than usual. That's just me though.

That should make it 48 hours so I don't see why not.

    Re: handling after feeding

I usually wait the two days. Once, even though I fed a little lighter, I waited a day and that was one of the only times my very-mellow male got a little hissy.

Then again, I am no expert.

It's amazing to me how much their habits change just after eating. I fed my bp a small fuzzy yesterday and another one today, and all I have to do now is walk in the room and he is on alert! I think I'll give him the 48 hours

Probably because the snake is still hungry...A fuzzy is what you feed a hatchling right out of the egg.

maybe I'm wrong about what it was then. It was a frozen mouse, is that a fuzzy?

*edit* it looked like this, but frozen.

That would be called an adult mouse. They are called different things based on their size.

Pinky, fuzzy, hopper, small adult, adult, jumbo.

I have seen pictures of the snake that you rescued and it looks like he can take a small rat easily.
