anyone have issues with 1st time mothers?

so alot of my females are just starting to have litters for the 1st time and im observing that a few of them are just not taking care of their babbies. they seem to not understand that there supposed to feed them. im hoping with the next time they give birth that they will catch on but for now i have put some older crawlers in the tub from another female to see if the baby will kind of "show" how its done. just wondering if ne one has done the same or had issues on the first litter then by the 2nd or 3rd one they catch on. i have about 10 preggers that should pop within the next week and out of 4 of the new moms that have had them 2 litters have died.

They'll catch on its happened to me before sometimes they eat half the babies the first time around.

Two of my females ate both of their first litters. They have both now had their second litters, and all babies survived and healthy. They should be fine their second time around.
