How many tub size are required for a BP collection?

It seems like 6qt, 28qt,32qt, & 41qt tubs are regularly used for BPs. Yet I'm curious does one move hatchlings which have outgrown their first tubs straight into tubs which will house adult males? I'm starting to look into building my first rack. I probably won't build mine still after we get out tax refund so I'm in no rush.

Presently I have 1.1 09 pastels which I picked up last month at a local show as well as a 0.1 CH 09. The pastel are in a couple tubs I picked up from target and roughly 18-20 qts & the CH female is in a visionarium. I figure I can house the pastels in their tubs till they are 500 or so grams. The normal is already over 400 grams but there is plenty of room in the vision for us her. I'm considering just building a 41qt rack but not sure how juvis would do in that size tub. Presently I'm not looking into having a large breeding project and figure a 9 bin rack would likely be enough for me. I'll make a hatchling rack when its needed. That considered it would be easier having one 41qt rack rather than a 32qt rack and build a 41 qt rack later once the females are sexually mature. Does anyone keep smaller BPs in 41qt tubs? I'm sure I have fit 2 or even 3 hides for the BPs in it.

    Thanks
    Xavier

I just want to let you know that you can build a rack with both types in there. You can put 1 28 qt long ways and a 16 qt width ways side by side and it equals the length of a 41 qt tub. Sterilite containers are really nice how they are all close in dimensions. You could have a rack with 3 different sizes of tubs in it and the dimensions of the rack would just have to be 18 inches deep and 36 inches wide, the height is up to you, but each tub is 6 inches high.

So someone buildling a rack 18'' W x 36'' D could fit 28qt tub that slides in with a few inches of extra space in the front as 41qt tubs are longer than 28qt?

    Thanks

Personally I go from a 6qt straight to the 32qt, and havent had a problem. Mind that my 32qt is a rack that is fairly dark, leaving them with tons of good areas to hide in and feel secure.

When I look into the 6qt and go "oh man you just... nah this isnt working at all"

Nah, I move them after 3 months. But every instance I have done this it was because the snakes had been in quarantine, hence the 3 months.

The 28 qt is like 23 1/2 inches long and the 41 qt is a little more than 34 inches long. I'm saying that a 16 qt is 8 inches meaning that both together would be only like 33 inches, leaving a little room. But thats if the rack was 36" wide and 18" deep.
