I wish I could get a good side angle of it, but her eyes have this totally neat liquid-silver thing going on.

She's my first red tail, so I'm excited. I can't help but think that in a few years, I'll look back at these pictures and not believe it could be the same snake.

Some recent(ish) pictures of my adorable Roxanne. She's settled in beautifully, and just had a perfect shed. Switched over to f/t without a fuss (really, I can't see her turning down a meal. She's been an enthusiastic eater. ) even if she insists on sitting there constricting the mouse for a good 10 minutes to make sure it's extra dead. :
