How should I go about getting it back to its right weight?! Feed it two mice instead one? what?

Also how do I get my snake from frozen mice to live mice?

i would try to up your feeding if you are feeding once a week i would try feeding twice a week. think of it like this 2 med sized meals are better than 1 large meal. have you tried feeding live ?

You haven't mentioned an actual weight. At 2 feet long, how much does it weigh?

Place the mouse in a small box or container with air holes and set it on or near the enclosure. Once the snake picks up the scent and starts flicking it's tongue and poking it's head out of the hide, place the mouse on the opposite end of the tank and let nature take it's course...

Make sure you monitor it closely in case the snake doesn't take it, then you can remove the mouse, and don't leave them unattended until the snake has killed it...
