    Re: Breeding?

No, you're good. 1500 is perfect for the female, and my 500 gram male is breeding two females just fine. The smallest male that I've actually seen breed was 350 grams. Just make sure you rotate and keep him eating.

My first year I did the male 3 days in with the female and 4 days out. Fed on the first day out, 72 hours to rest and digest.

Now I don't rotate the male in as frequently, as I don't believe it's necessary to do it that often. This year the male goes with an individual female once a month. So, one male may be with a female a week, but never the same female more than one time a month.
