Hi all I am just curious if a vet can run a stool sample on rat poo like they do on cats and dogs?

I was wanting to see if my guys have any kinds of parasites or anything I should be worried about.
I have been told that IF I don't freeze them after CO2ing them that IF I feed them fresh to say my cats they can get tape worms , round worms and pin worms from them.
And this is all that has come up so far not sure if I should be worried about anything else or not.

I plan to try to feed a few as whole prey to my cats and see how that goes but I wanted to try to feed them fresh killed but have been told I need to freeze them unless I know they are parasite free so I was wondering if any of you guys know anything about this or not.

My cats eat raw ground right now but wanted to expand it into whole prey since I have the feeders I figured I could give it a try and see if they go for it.

thanks
look forward to your replies
