My first BP Morph...

So...I was kind of really into Corns for quite a while, but got completely out of it and sold my whole collection.
I have now decided to get back into keeping snakes, and got my first BP morph last night. He's not my first BP ever, just my first morph.
He is very small still...so I will try and keep this updated with pics as he grows.
These are the only two shots that I got that were any good at all (and they still aren't great ) but after he settles in for a bit I'll get him out and on a nice background for some pictures....

Awesome looking little guy there! I do like the eyes they usually have on them, same with spiders. They get to be very "green" sometimes and it's very cool.

Want to ask though, what kind of bedding he is staying on? Not to be a party pooper, but I don't recommend anything besides shredding/chipped aspen. Anything else is usually very harmful for snakes.

I am good friends with who may be the biggest Ball Python breeder in Central Indiana. He uses aspen...but he also uses this substrate. And I used to use Aspen. However, and you should know this, Indiana winters are very very dry. Having gas heat, further drys out your air.

This is called "Reptibark",it is PERFECTLY SAFE for snakes and other reptiles. The only problem that MAY EVER OCCUR is a piece of it sticking to food and getting impacted. Fortunately another tip I got from my friend, and through extensive research I did before ever using this substrate, I lay down a piece of paper towel for the snakes to feed off of so they don't get substrate in their mouth.

Haha...I didn't finish what I was trying to say here....the Reptibark holds humidity far better than Aspen. That is why I am using it right now because it's so dry in my house.

Lol, okay that's great! Was just making sure...and you don't have to tell me twice how dry it gets here. *licks cracked lips* XD I have humidity hide for my ball pythons and they are in there most often around this time. I mist about every day too so that helps the most.

It's funny you should mention the papet towel thing! I do that with my aspen bedding because I like to just feed in my cages and just don't want them eating it.
