    age and size

im going to an expo on sunday and im gonna pick up a pastel. I want to get one that is approximately 1 year of age as i have read that in about 2 years they can breed(female). I have a male that i got about 6 months ago so i figure by next november theyd both be ready to go. If i ask them ages will they know or should i just go buy weight/size? if the second option was is an appropriate size to look for.

    thanks

    Re: age and size

A good breeder who is selling his animals will have records of how old the animal is.

When I got my spider ball this weekend, he came with an index card, detailing date of birth, shed times and feed times.

I would always make sure the breeder has the animals history. Pretty sure almost all reputable breeders have that on hand.
