Man am I in a situation...
This has never happened to me in my life, and Im not sure who else it has happened to... A Hopper Mouse is keeping My Albino Blood Python Hostage.... I went to drop the hopper mouse in his tub and the hopper mouse literally flew in the other direction and went running in my room... Luckily i had him cornered behind the rack... I tried to smash him with a text book, but he flew, so i used snake like skills with my tongs to grab him! I shouldve kept squeezing until he died, but i decided to let my blood do it... (Big Mistake, this mouse is obviously too smart...)... So i dropped him in carefully, and he almost flew out again... But i managed to close the bin before this dam thing leaped out... I opened the tub to see if my blood killed it, and the mouse tried to jump right out when i opened the tub, so i had to shut the tub as fast as possible causing the dish to splash, thus making my blood python lose his appetite!!! So now i have a snake that isnt hungry, in a tub, with a mouse that tries to jump for the exit each time you open the tub... I tried stealthfully reaching for the mouse with the tongs to hopefully grab him like a snake would, but the second i get close he Jumps!!! He jumps HIGH too!!! Man, wait til i get my hands on this thing... Im going to give him to my cousins big tegu that is visiting... Im sitting in my room right now monitoring them as i cant leave live food alone with the snake.... Wish me luck...

Well, if you can't get the mouse out, might as well take some vids of this amazing jumping rodent!
I really don't have any advice to offer except to be very ninja-like with your tongs.
 Dude, where did Bob go?

Hold a tall box or bin in front of the snake rack, when you open the snake bin and the rodent jumps into the tall box/bin, grab your shotgun. It will be like shooting fish in a barrel.

But thanks for the ideas guys... I had to do this S.W.A.T. style... I crept in really quietly and wacked the mouse on the head.. While he was down i threw him in the tegu enclosure and that was the end of that... No casualties, Enemy Down.

Thats why i hold them by the tails and dangle them in front of the snake for feeding. There is no chance they can get away. And every no and then a mouse/rat will curl up and bite my finger. But a quick WHACK to the side of the rack fixes any leftover aggression.
