    feeding question

    Hi,
My ball python is having a hard time swallowing her mouse. Could it be that she somehow didn't do it correctly? Any suggestions?

    Re: feeding question

is it the right size....about the same size as the thickest part of her body? Also did she take it head first??? Sometimes when they take it the wrong way it can take a long time.

My normal took one from the backside and it took her like 5 hours once... freaked me out. I was calling everyone I knew and in a total panic. That is actually how I found this website...trying to do research on it.

How much does your ball python weight? How old is it? How long did it take to eat it? As long as the mouse is the same width as the snake, it should be fine!
