    is this hogg island full grown?

    I am buying a hogg island boa. hes an '05 and hes about ~4 feet. do you think hes full grown?

    Here you go. Hogg island boa come from a little island in the caribbean.They are ussualy light in colouration but still retain the typical boa tail.The female hogg island are around 6 ft and the males are around 5 ft but it is known that they can grow larger.As with most reptiles hogg island boas are long lived so your life with your snake will be a long one.

    okay so what your saying is that it can get larger than 5'? and when it does get 5', can i keep it in a 4x2x15 for the rest of his life?

    I don't think he's full grown. Again, he'll at least add another foot. Most males max out at 5' (rarely 6'). It takes them quite a few years to get to their adult size though. My male is 3 years old and over 5'. It all depends on the animal and the husbandry (feeding schedule).

    Also, if he is an '05 and only 4', he's probably not going to be especially large for his sex. So, you shouldn't have any worries.

    I think a 4'x2' cage is just fine for a male.

    thanks im deciding between him, and a baby russian tortoise. but ill choose him if my mom lets me
