Vivarium Size need some advice pls
ok so as i posted im gonna by my 4months ball python really soon.
now i have an empty shelf which im gonna turn into a vivarium and i need to know if its big enough for the ball python till it grows.
here are the mesurments:
with = 18cm
lenght = 76.5cm
height = 28.5cm
what concerns me a bit is the with , but i think it should be enough for a 4month ball python. but i'll leave that to the experts.
picture of the place coming soon , im recharging my digital camera's battry

It depends on what you mean by 'till it grows'. I wouldnt imagine that size would be adequate for very long. A couple of months at best I would think.

Yeah the width is a bit small. I would just get a 10 gallon tank and then get a 20 gallon when the snake is a little over a year.it will be hard to fit hides in there with such a small footprint.

That may be a 10 or 20 gal. I'm not sure. the centimeter measurements work out to approximately:
L= 30"
W= 7"
H= 11"

Yeah I am sure the gallon measurement comes to around 10-20 but the floor dimention is awkward. It could work but you might have to improvise some hides and heating. 7 inches is not very much.

At 2.8 cm/inch 18/2.8=6.43 so its just barely too small.
And the length is like 27.3"
Personally I'd say get a tub and some flexwatt, but you probably want something that will be more display, like most people when they get into snakes.
I'd actually suggest a corn snake for the dimensions you gave.

already got a corn. that setup is just temporary till i clear my wardrobe of all the stuff and the snake grows a bit, then i have a bigger place to turn into a vivarium , so lets say , for the next like 3months will that be enough for him or they grow really fast?
