    Shedding question about my Ghost...

This is my first BP and she's beautiful, but since she always looks like she's about to shed, I can never tell! What are some tell tale signs that she is actually shedding?

You will notice the black/dark portions of her are extremely washed out. A pinkish belly is also an indicator, even on ghosts. Basically if your ghost looks more "ghosty" than usual

Another interesting tidbit, in case you didnt notice alreasy, is that ghosts shed a completely clear skin- no pattern on it!

Yep, on my ghost I tend to look for cloudy eyes or the telltale pink belly. But once you've had it for some time, you'll begin to be able to tell the difference in their "usual" color and their "shed" color. I usually can with mine, but she surprises me from time to time. LOL

turns out that she was in shed... its coming off rather nicely... but it definitely wasnt in one piece... she seems to prefer rubbing against herself in her hide than on the nice pieces of wood i got her :/

Hehe, each snake will find a method that works for them. Mine will rub his nose against a rock in his cage until the skin peels off, then go into his hide to get the rest off. Because he's climbing all over the shed skin as he's taking it off, it comes apart ino pieces and I find him happily snoozing on a pile of skin pieces.
