    New Coastal.

I don't know why, but i got a male coastal at the Taylor Michigan show. He is from Nate Oswald.

I definitely dont regret it though, great snake. Still really nasty, but im enjoying watching him. Here are some pics. He ate a f/t mouse. He is a little over a year old, and dwarfed most of his siblings. I love him.

    Thanks for looking!
    Sam

Nice Coastal. Mine is just a bit over a year and has finally stopped trying to end my life when he sees me each time

Thanks guys, he is a cool snake. I told myself no more pythons after the spotty, but i figured this would be a cool guy to watch grow, and gain more experience as a keeper. He definitely poses for the camera!

Huh, and I thought coastals were supposed to be among the more docile carpets. My younger brother has a yearling which I've handled several times, and while it's mildly head shy, I've never so much as seen it take a swing at anybody, let alone do anything that could be described as "nasty."

    Beautiful snake, BTW.

This is probably true. Keep in mind, this snake is straight from the breeder and has been minimally handled since last spring when it was born. I dont blame the snake for being scared and I bet he will settle down quick.
