    shed issue.

i just acquired a normal male BP. he is my first snake and i think i've read page after page after page of info on him. his temps are perfect the humidity is 60 to 70 pretty much all the time. he shed just fine except for a quarter sized piece on his neck eye caps are gone. should i try removing it or just let it be until the next shed cycle. just a newbie reassuring myself. he was hatched 6-24 and is in great shape.

As long as it doesn't go around his whole neck he should be fine. Up your humidity a bit more and he might get it off himself. If not, no big deal. It will be gone with the next shed.

I suppose it would help a little. I would rather just mist once or twice a day for a couple days.

If you drench the aspen it will mold, a light mist is fine. The water will evaporate off the top layer of aspen.

He is very handsome Love that little tail stripe!

Well you could try putting some wet paper towels in the tank with the snake. Maybe in the hot hide?
