Talking Phoenix Reptile Expo 2009 Photos (DUW)

I tried to take as many photos as I could, but I tried to save my camera battery as much as I could. Tomorrow I'm going back to the reptile expo, so I will take some more pictures. It was a blast and I had so much fun. I talked to tons of vendors and people and they were all very nice. I also got myself a little something, and so did my sister.

    Here are the pictures:

    Baby Turtles!

    Emerald Tree boa, yellow phase

    Granite Burm

    Albino Granite Burm

    Crested Gecko

My First time handling a Taranchula, and it was AWESOME!! This Taranchula is really, really tame and I barely felt it crawling on my arm. I was kind of nervous to handle it but my sister made me. It wasn't that bad though.

    Awesome Chameleon

    Albino Burm

    Some kind of albino Milksnake

    Yet another Granite Burm

    Sleepy Gecko

    BEAUTIFUL Boa constrictor

    GORGEOUS Boa constrictor

    Pastel Ball python

    Baby Gecko

I think this is either a Green Tree python or Emerald Tree boa..

    Reticulated pythons

Lavender Albino Retic & Albino Retic (don't think you can see the albino much in this photo)

Ok here's the cutie pa-tootie I bought at the show from LLLReptile. They have great reptiles and couldn't be happier with my purchase. They had TONS of different reptiles, and I picked this 3-4 year old girl, her name is Vanna. My sister bought a Savannah Monitor which I have no pictures of at the moment, sorry. They are both very healthy lizards. Here's my girl:

Like I said, tomorrow I will be at the show and will take some more pics. Sorry I didn't get enough of the Ball pythons or other reptiles, these were quick photos because my camera didn't have a lot of battery in it. Tomorrow I may pick up a Pastel Ball python (female), but still not sure if I should or not. Anywho, hope you enjoyed the photos. If anyone saw me today, you shoulda said hi

Great pictures, i love going to expo's now and seeing all the different reptiles and animals that are available. I can only imagine how packed the Phoenix expo is, i'm sure theres over 150 vendors. Nice pickup, that is a really nice looking bearded dragon. How much did you snag her for?

Yeah the expo was just amazing, and wayy more nicer than the expo was last year. I think there was 100 vendors at the show, but it seemed like there was a lot more than just 100.

I got my Beardie for only $100 which is a fair deal IMO because she is very tame and a great eater. She hated being in that little container so I took her out on the ride home and she just chilled on my shirt all stretched out looking out the window LOL.

Hell yeah that is a good deal considering she is full grown and VERY healthy. At my Petsmart I think a juvenile Beardie is $60 or $70, so the fact that you got a very tame good eater for $100 is a great deal.

Plus, gotta love how funny Bearded dragons are about eating and exploring!

    Thanks Joe
She's one of the sweetest Beardies I've come across. I heard bad things about LLLReptiles like their animals not being healthy, but me and my sister's lizards are very healthy. She's crazy for getting a Savannah Monitor.. the funny thing was that the guy said they can eat ground turkey and eggs (raw or boiled) and my sister was like, "This lizard is perfect, we can diet together!" LOL.. she doesn't need to go on a diet, but I assume she meant eat healthy.

I thought it was a pretty good deal too. I wish I could've gotten a morph, but now I don't even care because this girl is definitely perfect. At my Petsmart the Beardies are around $70 I think, and the ones at the show were like $20 or so which isn't bad.

LOL I love watching her, I watched her eat and even handed her food and she did eat out of my hand including eating off of the plate. She loves to taste everything too, she's always licking something in her cage LOL. I'm going to have a lot of fun keeping her. Tonight I mixed Collard & Mustard Greens together and put some squash in there and she loved it.
