I've been looking into rock python housing, and cant seem to find anything that really gives a nice general size...

I've seen buld plans for plywood/plexiglass enclosures ranging from 8'x4'x4', to 6'x4'x4', to 6x3'x3', to 5'x3'x3', right down to 5'x3'x2, even some recommended in the 4'x3'x3'.

And then theres some out there that say just a jumbo sized, extra long and wide sterilite box will be sufficient (though i have no idea how to secure a sterilite box from a rock python busting out of it).

Thing is, I'm picking up a not so ill-tempered 7' rock python, and want to know what the realistic cage size should be. I know temps should range from 83 to 92 degrees, with a idle side of 79.

any ideas folks?
