New bP owner with a question....

I just got my first bp about 3 1/2 weeks ago. For the most part he spends most of his time in his hide and comes out at night. The last few days he has been curled up in the corner of the tank under the UV lamp. He looks like he's starting the shed cycle. He isn't moving much like he has been. Is this part of the shed cycle or is there something more that I need to be concerned with?

Re: New bP owner with a question....

    Hi,

The tend not to be as active during a shed cycle but they normally do so in one of their hides.

Does he have a hide at the warm end and a hide at the cool end? Thats the best way to make sure he can thermoregulate properly while still feeling secure if he is one of the shy ones.

If you give us the full rundown of your set up we might be able to adive you better - pictures would probably help both of the setup and the snake as well as the temps.

How is he eating for you?
