I haven't really been on here that often lately. This year I was planning on breeding Akina, my normal girl, to my pastel, Thriller. I started pairing them up in September. I then had surgery in October. Because of the financial demand of the surgery and the fact I couldn't work for 3-4 weeks (but I did end up going back to work early) AND the fact I decided to quit my job, I decided it was best to not breed this year. But of course Akina and Thriller had already been paired several times and there was a lot of courtship behavior going on. I'm pretty sure he locked at least once or twice even though I didn't see it.

During the time I was at the hospital and recovering at home (I couldn't go upstairs and do any snake upkeep. My husband had to clean tubs and water everyone. They didn't get fed for 3 weeks! If feel so bad about that. ) Akina and the other snakes were not fed. This was mainly due to the fact we just could not get out to the store to get feeders (I wasn't allowed to drive). When I was finally able to drive, we immediately got feeders and fed everyone. Everyone ate, including Akina. Now recently the rack Akina is in has stopped working. I moved her over to another rack, but during last week's feeding, she refused a meal. Do you think this is just because she was moved or do you think this could be related to breeding?
