The Turtle cake :D

Sat. is one of my best friend's 18th birthday parties! She was having trouble finding an affordable cake that was very green and a turtle lol

She had never baked a cake, so I spent the entire day (11:30-7pm)working on a cake with her. Her entire family watched me like I was the most fascinating thing in the world while I worked (not one of them knows how to bake). This is the first cake that I've actually tried to make look good, and I'm rather proud of this goofy but cute turtle lol!

That is one awesome cake, I would've loved to have a cake like that for my birthday LOL.

When I first joined this forum there was this thread on this cake and it was a Ball python and it looked super cool. I bet the person paid a lot of money to get a cake that looked exactly like a Ball python

Yeah the cake is pretty adorable, I like the eyes LOL ^.^

I feel the exact same way.. no way in hell I could afford a specialty snake cake. Hopefully one day it would be possible, though. If it did happen I wouldn't eat the cake for like a week, I would just enjoy looking at it LOL

That is awesome! I can't imagine doing that, I love baking but haven't done that much yet! I love watching the cake boss though!
