Well, I wanted to post pictures of the twins and two other albinos who hatched at the same time from the same clutch. There are two eggs left to hatch, but it's been a couple days so I went ahead and cut/pipped them.
Here are the hatched twins..
Notice that they are a little smaller than the other two, and they appear faded.
Now, my questions are... What are the odds of getting a set of twins in a clutch? I have researched online (not specifically regarding snakes) and read that some believe that twins may be genetic...
Either way I was shocked and pleased to get twins in a clutch of albino eggs, and could you imagine my surprise when I cut/pipped the last two eggs?
7 Albinos from 5 eggs! woot!

I don't have an answer to your question but I think thas pretty damn cool... I'd be stoked too.

MAN, no normals!!
And two sets of Albino twins! You have odds like you crossed two Albino parents.. wait.. did you? Haha.
Not to mention, two sets of twins is crazy good luck. I hope they're all healthy and grow up perfectly for you.

Yes, both parents are albinos.

If it is genetic I would keep a twin and breed it to a het albino. Maybe your chances of producing a paradox would be higher since a paradox is twins that merged in the egg to become one snake. Since your clutch is albinos you may have this already in your other babies but you have no way to tell, which is why I suggest a het, that way with luck there will be a normal and and albino that merge to create a visual paradox.

I don't know that paradox or shatter pattern is linked to twins. I realize that is one of the theories, but until it is proven (through dna testing) I can't put any faith into it. I think it's more likely to be multiple unknown genes.
Now, with that said, I did produce a spider with paradox/shatter markings. The spider came from two adults that did not have the traits, but the breeder I purchased the two adults (when they were hatchlings) have seen the paradox/shatter pattern show up in the same line several times.

I'd pair those same 'binos up again next season to see if you can duplicate twinning! I've heard that in humans mothers who have had twins are statistically more likely to have twins again than 'average'.
