    UTH sticky glue

While cleaning my snakes tank today I noticed the UTH sticky stuff isnt working and it's coming off the bottom of the tank. Instead of buying a new UTH heater is there any glue that I can use to keep sticking back on that wont burn up?

Go to a hardware store and buy some aluminum duct tape in the heating section. Works great and handles the high temps.

    Re: UTH sticky glue

I never use the sticky stuff on my UTHs, I always leave them on and just tape it to the bottom of the tank. I've never had any problem using any type of tape.

Keep an eye on your falling-off pad though. My first ever UTH (which I did use the sticky stuff) started malfunctioning shortly after it began to peel off...my corn felt statically charged when he was sitting on it!
