New 9 slot 41 qt melamine rack and tub occupants DUW...

This is my new 41 qt melamine rack with 11" flexwatt for belly heat. The only issue I have with it is I had the person at home depot cut the melamine shelves for me and they did a bad job on some of them. All the cuts were free though and it did save me time but not still not really happy with it but what can you do. I have to make one more after christmas. Sorry the pics are not really that great...

Please excuse the wires. I have not decided how I am going to place the thermostat. The thermostat is a Ranco (one of the two) that came from Heather (LadyOhh). Thanks Heather!!!! The original thermostat I had for the other rack was a herpstat ND but that literally got blown up durring a bad lightning storm

Nice setup! What caused the Herpstat to blow up?

Could that have been prevented by plugging a Surge Protector into the wall, and then the Herpstat into that?

Lightning hit the house durring a bad storm. We lost a ton of stuff because of it.

The funny part was that I was using a surge protector. It tripped the breaker for the surge protector but still blew up my herpstat. Maybe it was not enough Joules Luckily the snakes are in my bedroom and it happened at like 5 in the morning so when it blew up there was a LOUD bang and it woke me and my wife right up. So I put a spare thermostat on the rack right away until I got the one from Heather.

Love the crazy pattern on the pastel. If I saw one like that then I would have a pastel in my collection.

Thumbs up Re: New 9 slot 41 qt melamine rack and tub occupants DUW...

    Hi,

That looks killer. Your snakes look really healthy. Nice job. I am about to make some new racks my self. I am going to try build them to look like the AP fully enclosed sides. Thanks for sharing your collection with us.

    looks good there

you should look into a whole house surge protector they can cost a couple hundred but when you think of the cost of what could happen its nothing
