I have a 41 Qt rack too but I dont think a boa would be very happy in one that size its entire life. Are you getting a male or a female? Even with BPs if you have one that ever gets over 3000/3500 grams it might be more comfortable in a slightly larger enclosure.

I think a boa up to 4 ft or so would be ok in there but 5 ft or more and it would be cramped. True Hoggs are supposed to stay smaller being a dwarf locality boa but there are lots of 7 ft+ hoggs out there.

I would just have a back up plan in place for when it did outgrow that box.

I kept a good sized female hog isle boa temporarily in a CB70 tub (similar size), after she was kept by her previous owner in a 20 gallon long tank. She was not doing well in there. She was constantly roaming, and eventually got a nose rub from being in the tub. She's now comfortably residing in a 4 foot Neodesha cage.
