Hudson Valley Herpetological LLC - NY

Has anyone purchased anything from these guys? I tried looking on Fauna's Board of Inquiry but couldn't find anything. Thanks for your help. Would like to know what your experience was like and how your snake is doing.

I know someone who bought from them and there was no issue. I've personally never bought from them. They are in my area and haven't heard anything negative about them. I'll see if I can find some more info on them.

I know the facility as it is very close to Cornell University. The owner and workers are very conscientious about the health and care of their snakes. They have a very impressive collection as well.

Well I was looking at a female snake morph over the weekend and called them yesterday about it. I called and left a voicemail, then wrote an email. Havnt heard back from them. So this morning I go on their website to make sure I got the phone number right and they apparently didnt even have their snake pages updated so now there are no females in the morph i was looking for and it cut from two pages of snakes down to a half a page.
So thats kinda weird? they didnt even have half the snakes available in the first place! and they were all available to "add to my cart"...kinda weird..They could have gotten back to me explaining why their website wasnt updated, I was very excited about that female...I think ill take my business elsewhere

Please disregarde this post, they did get back to me today and they explained that they are in the process of turning the snakes over to f/t.
So I guess i jumped to conclusions a little quickly.

Thumbs up Re: Hudson Valley Herpetological LLC - NY

I can personally vouch for Jack Whalen and Hudson Valley Herpetological llc.
I recently purchased two albinos het axanthic bp's from them at a great price. Paid with paypal and Jack shipped them to me the same day. After an error on the part of fed-ex, Jack personally saw to make it right. He always responded to my emails and texts quickly. And he had no problem answering any questions I had. I was very satisfied with my purchase. I would recommend him to anyone I know.
