    What about this thermometer

ok, so my heat gun broke today, i used to use it on my RC cars to monitor enigine temps and it was stupidly expensive and whataver im a clutz.

anyways i had my thermometer from my chameleon setup monitoring air temp/humidity because my cham setup is solid and hasnt changed so im not worried about monitoring Reptar 100%.

So i was thinking what about this therm
    http://lllreptile.com/store/catalog/...er-with-probe/

I could use one probe for hot side floor and the other for ambient humidity. I use a fluckers dual digital for my cham, but it doesnt have a probe. I like this one cuz i could keep it outside of everything. I figure im not too worried about the ambient air temp. Ill keep using the cham thermometer stuck to the glass for a few days until i can be assured that everything is running ok.

Im not trying to cheap out on the 10$ thermo, but i dont get paid again till the 21st of the moeny so im pinching a big penny kinda.

    Anyways how does this sound??

If you want to go with a probed thermometer you could always go to homedepot and pick up an accurite. Mine were about $10 each.

Personally I think that looks junky. I don't know of many people who use it and there is probably a good reason for that.
